JobFlash has an immediate opening for a J2EE application developer. We ar= e looking for someone with deep technical J2EE expertise and a demonstrated history of building scalable web applications. You must have a good understanding of MVC Architecture, design patterns, J2EE IDEs and framewo= rks, and can understand complex data models. The role involves 75% coding and = 25% preparing and reviewing technical specs.

This is an opportunity to work on world-class web and speech applications that are changing the way hourly workers are hired.

You are passionate about delivering good quality software and use available tools and third party products to improve your efficiency.

Responsibilities
- Deliver good quality software in time =

- Prepare and review technical specifications =

- Provide realistic time estimates =

- Work closely with the Release and QA teams to streamline the release pr= ocess


Minimum Qualifications =

- 7 years total work experience as a software developer and / or architect

- 3 years developing large, scalable, J2EE database applications using MVC/Struts

- Strong SQL skills with Oracle or PostgreSQL

- Experience with performance tuning of web applications =

- Excellent problem solving and communication skills =

- BS/BA in Computer Science =


Desirable Qualifications =

- Experience with Tomcat
- Knowledge of JUnit, Web Services
- Development of an ASP application for match-making =

- Experience developing speech applications using VoiceXML (VXML)
