Hi Everyone, It's been raining for a week and looks like it is going to continue for at least a couple of more days. Do you know what that means? "It is snowing in Tahoe!!!!!, and it's skiing season again!!!" Let it snow, let it snow.....!! BAPS is planing a ski trip to Tahoe. Our plan is as follows:
Ski trip plan: When: 1/31/97-2/2/97 ( Friday-Sunday )
Leave Bay Area on Friday at 6:00pm and
Return on Sunday (probably late afternoon)
Lodging cost: $45/person (adult) for two nights $22.50/kid under 12 yrs
Transportation: $50/person (minivan, includes gas,insurance,etc..) Other option: you can drive your own car
Skiing: ~$45/person (you pay to ski resort)
Details of the plan: We rented a 5 bed-room house that can fit a maximum about 30 people in South Lake Tahoe area. We'll assign the rooms according to the following priority:
1) elderly
2) Family with kids
3) single Women
4) single men
The house is about 5 min away from the casinos and it's very nice. You can join us even you if don't want to go skiing. Everyone is free to go to casinos, play snow, or ski on Saturday. Please bring your own sleeping bags or blankets with you. We will bring some food (rice, some cooked food, instant noodles, bread, etc...) for snacks. We will eat out for the main meals. This is like a family style, and everyone is welcomed to bring anything they want to share with us. Kids are welcome, too. We'll rent 2-4 minivans, depending on the number of people who want to carpool. You can drive your own car and join us there or caravan there together with us. So let's go and have fun in the snow.
