Southeast Asia Spring Festival 2005 Organizing Kick-off

Dear Friends of Southeast Asia,

Southeast Asia covers 5 million square miles, where 500 million people live, work, sing, dance, talk and eat REALLY GREAT food. In the San Francisco Bay Area, a group of Malaysians, Indonesians, Burmese and Singaporeans wanted to do something fun together. We’re planning a Southeast Asia Festival in Spring 2005, and we’re inviting you to join us in making it happen. Bring your ideas to add to the halo halo mix – Southeast Asian Arts Forum Food Festival – have we left out anything? Come tell us!

The Spring Festival offers something everyone who cares about Southeast Asia. Get involved in the organizing, or just put a date in your calendar to come join us at the Spring Festival in San Francisco in 2005. If you are interested in knowing more about this culturally rich, diverse tropical area, it’s a great way to learn by getting to know fellow Southeast Asians.
Join us at our Organizing Kick off on Treasure Island in beautiful San Francisco Bay. Bring your special talents, well-developed skills and unique personality to Treasure Island on November 13 2004. You will find more about how to get involved with the Southeast Asia Spring Festival.
A buffet-style dinner of delicious Indonesian, Burmese, and Chinese food will be served. We hope to offer you a great opportunity to make new friends who appreciate what you have to contribute to a worthwhile project. Truly, we look forward to meeting you on Treasure Island.
