BAPS Annual Meeting and General Election

BAPS election was held on January 18, 2009 at Daniel Maung's residence.

Edison Paw, Past President of BASTS (which merged with BASES to form BAPS), was elected President.

BAPS will donate $100 to the American Diabetes Association in memory of the father of Peter, past Secretary, BAPS.

BAPS members plan to participate in the baby shower of Nichole, Past VP, BAPS.

BAPS thanks the donors and volunteers of the fund raising drives held in the past by BAPS.

BAPS plans to hold a get-together dinner tentatively on February 28, 2009 to honor the immediate Past President and to introduce the incoming President.

BAPS welcomed three new members.  Khin is currently working at data storage company and a graduate of UC Berkeley.  Tin is a software engineer working at one of the startup companies and proud MIT alum.  Finally, Julian is a hardware engineer at major semiconductor company, and he was recently graduated from UC San Diego.
